Swasthya Sathi Scheme (স্বাস্থ্য সাথী প্রকল্প)– The Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal launched the Swasthya Sathi Scheme on 30th December 2016 (30/12/2016). Sasthya Sathi Scheme is a family health insurance scheme for the citizens of West Bengal.
It provides appropriate health benefits for the entire family. The primary objective of the Sasthya Sathi Health Scheme is to provide West Bengal residents with access to cashless medical treatment.
Benefits of the Sastho Sathi Scheme
- The patient does not have to spend any cash. The hospital receives money directly from the WB government.
- Each family can receive a maximum of 5 lakh rupees per year for medical expenses.
- In addition to government hospitals, some private hospitals are included in this Swasthya Sathi Scheme.
You can get a WB Swasthya Sathi Card.
- Every family in West Bengal that is a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- No separate monthly premium is required for this. It is provided West Bengal government completely free of cost.
How to Apply Swasthya Sathi Card Online
Follow the step-by-step instructions to apply for the Sasthya Sathi Card online. স্বাস্থ্যসাথী কার্ডের আবেদন করার জন্য আপনাকে নিচের ছবিতে দেওয়া ফর্মটিকে অনলাইনে ফিলাপ করতে হবে।
- At first, visit the official website Swasthyasathi portal.
- Click the Apply Online option on the menu and select the Online Application for Swasthya Sathi Card option.
- Then open a new page of the application form.
- Now fill out the form very carefully.
- Add the names of all members of your household to this form.
- In this, you will have to scan and insert everyone’s Aadhaar card.
- Then submit the form.
স্বাস্থ্যসাথী কার্ডের জন্য অনলাইনে আবেদন করলেও আপনাকে আপনার নিকটবর্তী স্বাস্থ্যসাথী অফিসে যোগাযোগ করতে হবে। অনলাইনে আবেদন করার পর যদি আপনার নামে URN নাম্বার জারি হয় তাহলে স্বাস্থ্যসাথী কার্ডের ছবি তোলার জন্য এবং কার্ড পাওয়ার জন্য সমস্ত পরিবারকে নিয়ে স্বাস্থ্যসাথী অফিসে যেতে হবে। স্বাস্থ্যসাথী কার্ড করার জন্য আপনাকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা হতে হবে।

How do you check the application status of the Swasthya Sathi Card?
- At first, visit the official website Swasthyasathi portal.
- Click the Apply Online option on the menu and select the Check Your Online Application Status for Swasthya Sathi Card option.
- Then a new page will open for a status check.
- Now select District, Aadhaar No, and Enter Your Aadhaar No.
- Then Submit.
- Now, you will see the status of your application in front of you.

এই প্রকল্পে প্রতি বছর পশ্চিমবঙ্গের প্রতিটি পরিবার সর্বোচ্চ 5 লক্ষ টাকা পর্যন্ত চিকিৎসা সুবিধা পান। সারা রাজ্যে ২৮০০-এর বেশি সরকারি ও বেসরকারি উভয় হাসপাতাল এই প্রকল্পের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। প্রতিটি পরিবারের একজন মহিলা সদস্যের নামে স্বাস্থ্যসাথী কার্ড জারি করা হয়।
হাসপাতালে ভর্তির সময় আপনাকে স্বাস্থ্য সাথী কার্ড হাসপাতালে দেখাতে হবে, তারপর হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে কার্ড ভেরিফিকেশন করবে। সো ঠিক থাকলে আপনার চিকিৎসা সম্পূর্ণ ক্যাশলেসভাবে সম্পন্ন হবে। চিকিৎসার পর রোগী বা রোগীর পরিবারকে কোনো বিল বা টাকা দিতে হয় না।
