রূপশ্রী প্রকল্প হল পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার কর্তৃক আর্থিক সংকটে থাকা পরিবার গুলিকে তাদের মেয়ের বিয়ের খরচ মেটাতে ২৫,০০০ টাকার এককালীন আর্থিক সহায়তা কর্মসূচি। নিম্ন আয়ের পরিবারের উপর বিবাহের ব্যয়ের বোঝা কমানো। বাল্যবিবাহ বা জোরপূর্বক বিবাহ নিরুৎসাহিত করা এবং বিবাহে মর্যাদা বৃদ্ধি করা। এই প্রকল্পটিকে ১লা এপ্রিল, ২০১৮ থেকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার চালু করেছে।
Rupashree Prakalpa Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, you must fulfil all the following conditions. The main eligibility criteria are:
- Age of the Applicant (Bride): Must be 18 years or above on the date of application.
- Marital Status: Must be unmarried at the time of application.
- First Marriage: The marriage for which benefit is claimed should be the first marriage of the applicant. The application will not be entertained if there has been a previous marriage.
- Age of the Groom: The age of the proposed groom should be at least 21 years or above.
- Income Limit: Annual family income should be less than 1,50,000 rupees.
- Residence / Permanent Residence: The applicant should fulfil one of the following: (a) born in West Bengal, or (b) residing in West Bengal for the last 5 years, or (c) his parents are permanent residents of West Bengal.
- Bank Account: The applicant should have an active bank account in his name, which should have an IFSC Code, MICR and e-payment/NEFT support.
আবেদন করার আগে, আপনাকে অবশ্যই এই সমস্ত শর্ত পূরণ করতে হবে। আবেদনকারীর (পাত্রী) বয়স আবেদনের তারিখে ১৮ বছর বা তার বেশি হতে হবে। আবেদনের সময় অবিবাহিত থাকতে হবে। যে বিবাহের জন্য আপনি সুবিধা নিতে চাইছেন সেটি আবেদনকারীর প্রথম বিবাহ হতে হবে। আগে বিয়ে হয়ে থাকলে আবেদন গ্রাহ্য হবে না।
প্রস্তাবিত বরের বয়স কমপক্ষে ২১ বছর বা তার বেশি হতে হবে। পাত্রীর পরিবারের বার্ষিক আয় ১,৫০,০০০ টাকার কম হতে হবে। আবেদনকারী পশ্চিমবঙ্গে জন্মগ্রহণ করেছেন, অথবা গত ৫ বছর ধরে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বসবাস করছেন, অথবা তার বাবা-মাকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা হতে হবে। আবেদনকারীর নামে একটি সক্রিয় ব্যাংক অ্যাকাউন্ট থাকতে হবে।
Required Documents for Rupashree Scheme
To support the application, you will need to submit self-attested copies (or certified copies) of several documents. The list of documents required usually includes:
- Applicant’s age proof: Birth certificate, Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar, Admit Card, or school leaving certificate (বয়সের প্রমানপত্র- আধার কার্ড, ভোটার কার্ড, প্যান কার্ড অথবা মাধ্যমিক এডমিট কার্ড ইত্যাদি).
- Declaration of unmarried status
- Proof of family income: Self-declaration certified by the competent authority
- Proof of residence: Self-declaration certified by the competent authority
- Bank account details (bank passbook page with name, account number, and IFSC Code)
- Proof of proposed marriage: Marriage Invitation letter, Marriage registration notice
- Groom’s age proof (Pan Card, Voter Card, and Aadhaar Card)
- Passport-size Photo (both- applicant and groom)
Rupashree Prakalpa Application Process (রুপশ্রী প্রকল্প আবেদন ২০২৫)
You have to apply for the Rupashree Scheme offline. Applications cannot be made online. Follow the steps below to apply offline
- Collect the application form: Available free of cost from the local government office.
- Rural areas: Block Development Officer (BDO) office
- Municipal/Divisional areas: SDO office
- Municipal Corporation: Corporation office
- Fill the form with correct details: Application (Bride) Name, Age, Address, Proposed Date of Marriage, Bank Details, Groom details, etc.
- Attach Xerox copies of the documents listed above.
- Application Submission Deadline: Submit the form within 30 to 60 days of the date of marriage.
- Receive Acknowledgement: You should receive an acknowledgement receipt/ acknowledgement slip with your application ID and other details. Keep it safe for future tracking of your application.
আবেদন করার জন্য প্রথমে আপনাকে BDO/ SDO/ Municipality Office/ Corporation Office থেকে রুপশ্রী প্রকল্পে আবেদনের ফর্ম নিয়ে আসতে হবে অথবা আপনি অনলাইন থেকে আবেদনের ফর্ম ডাউনলোড করতে পারবেন। ফোনটিকে সঠিক ভাবে পূরণ করে সেই অফিসে গিয়ে জমা করতে হবে। আবেদনের ফর্মটিকে বিয়ের তারিখের ৩০ থেকে ৬০ দিনের মধ্যে আগে করতে হবে।
ফর্মটিকে জমা দেওয়ার সময় আপনাকে উপরে উল্লিখিত সমস্ত ডকুমেন্টের জেরক্স কপি স্বাক্ষর সাথে লাগিয়ে দিতে হবে। ফর্ম জমা করার সময় অবশ্যই আবেদনকারীকে থাকতে হবে। আবেদনপত্র জমা হয়ে গেলে সেখান থেকে আপনাকে আবেদন নাম্বার দেওয়া হবে যা দিয়ে আপনি আবেদনের স্ট্যাটাস অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে চেক করতে পারবেন। রুপশ্রী প্রকল্পে রাজ্য সরকার আবেদনকারীকে এককালীন ২৫ হাজার টাকা দিয়ে থাকে বিবাহের খরচ বহন করার জন্য।
Rupashree Status Check
After submitting your application, you will probably want to monitor its progress.
- Go to the official Rupashree portal- https://rupashree.wb.gov.in/
- Enter the “Track Application” option.
- Enter the details- Application ID and Applicant Year (e.g., 2019-20, 2020-21, etc.).
- Then enter the captcha code and click “Search”
- The system will show the status of your application – whether it is Verified, In Review, Approved, or Rejected.
রুপশ্রী প্রকল্পে আবেদন করার পরে যদি আপনি আবেদনের স্ট্যাটাস চেক করতে চান তাহলে আপনাকে প্রথমে রুপাশ্রী পোর্টাল খুলতে হবে। সেখানে Track Application নামে একটি অপশন পাবেন সেখানে ক্লিক করতে হবে। এবার আপনার সামনে যে নতুন পেজটি খুলবে সেইখানে এপ্লিকেশন আইডি ও সাল লিখে ক্যাপচা দিয়ে Search অপশন সিলেক্ট করতে হবে। তাহলেই আপনি আপনার আবেদনের স্ট্যাটাস দেখতে পাবেন।
যদি আপনার আবেদন গৃহীত হয় তাহলে সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে সরাসরি আপনার ব্যাংক অ্যাকাউন্টে ২৫ হাজার টাকা ট্রান্সফার করে দেওয়া হবে। যদি আপনার টাকা আসতে দেরি হয় এবং অ্যাকাউন্ট-এ কোন সমস্যা দেখা দেয় তাহলে আপনাকে সরকারি অফিসে যোগাযোগ করতে হবে।
